Race report by Leo Arnold
Past weekend the track of La Turbie - Monaco was the place of the first out of five rounds of the 1/10 nitro and GT8 French championship.
This track is well know due to long left corner before the straight and the 180° view on the sea and a part of Monaco.

This weekend the conditions were mixed, we had a partially dry track at the friday afternoon for the practice. Some parts were dry and the long left corner was humid. Saturday morning heavy rain didn’t allow us to make the practice and we started directly in the middle of the afternoon by the first qualification. It was our first round on a dry track, we were a bit confused about the setup but after the first few laps the car showed a good pace and I could make the best time on the 4 minutes qualifications after the 3 rounds in 1/10 followed by FrĂ©dĂ©ric La Spesa and KĂ©vin Rasquin. The first two drivers were directly qualified in the main final.

1/10 results:
1. LĂ©o Arnold - XRAY NT1
2. Aurélien Gouriau
3. Jean-Baptiste Geneau

I kept the lead during all the final by being around 1 seconds faster per laps than others drivers.

The last 3 minutes were super chaotic due to the heavy rain and we had to avoid puddles.
Anyway I kept the lead and won the first round of the French championship.
